The other day...

L: Mommy, kiss mine cheeks!

So I did.

L: Mommy, kiss mine other cheek! 

M: Uh... (worried)

And then he put his forehead in my face.

BOOYAH!

Lincoln has started saying Booyah! 

Its never just booyah, its always BOOYAH! with a fist pump into the air. 

I don't know who taught him this, but honestly, thank you! 

We find it hilarious.

I Was Reminded This Week

You know how Facebook basically dictates life?

UGH.

This week it reminded me that Matt and I had started dating 6 years ago. And then a couple days later these glorious pictures came back into our lives...

Our first pictures together, I guess as a couple? This was probably our 2nd or 3rd 'date'.

We Might Be Awful Parents

We might be awful parents.

A few weeks ago, when Matt was gone on a business trip, Lincoln woke up crying in the middle of the night saying that the birds were coming to get him. Today I was whistling at him and making the sound go up and down, like a bird singing, and he got scared and told us that the birds were coming to get him. When we sat down to eat dinner he wouldn't eat. We may or may not have brought the birds back and told Lincoln that the birds were coming to eat his dinner and to hurry and take a bite. He ate all of his dinner. And sat on daddy's lap the entire time. 

Are we awful parents?
