A couple weeks ago, we got to go to the Ogden Temple open house. It didn't work out that Matthew could go with us so I invited my mom to join instead.
The temple open house is basically a guided tour through the temple (before it is dedicated) that anyone can attend. You can see a lot of the rooms in the temple and there is information available to those who want to learn about the temple or the specific rooms that they guide you through. Generally, it is probably a once in a lifetime experience - but here in Utah over the last decade or so, we've been pretty spoiled. I've personally had the chance to go through at least 3.
As we were walking through, Lincoln saw me holding the hand rail on the stairs and tried to reach to hold it too. He's pretty funny.
It was a good day.
