High 5

I'm giving a large HIGH5 to Birch Creek Golf Course for having a nursing mother's room in their club house. Awesome. Even better, their nursing mother's room is larger than the one at the Salt Lake Temple! Splain that one to me. I wish I had noticed at the beginning of the day. That would have saved Lincoln and I both a lot of sweat.

We were there last week for the Shriners Golf Tournament. And we had fun.

And Lincoln decided to eat some grass.

This Is How I Spent:

My night off from the Mace.

Just me, Lithuania, and some netflix! And I don't even feel bad about it.

My students are making mini versions of this tomorrow about European countries that they chose. They are going to hate it, I'm excited.

Today I am happy. And that is rare for me lately after a 14 hour work day.

High5's all around for 2 good works in a row!!

Know what else makes me happy? Tomorrow is Friday!

And one more? Spring Break is soon!

Then only 4 WEEKS TILL GRADUATION.

 

When I think about it, I am continually surprised at how I am able to hate the children at the same time that I LOVE THE CHILDREN! It. Is. Weird. Student teaching is really challenging with all of the time, stress, lack of sleep, and money that I have to put into it. Such a challenge.

But,

I

LOVE

IT.

 

It makes me feel so good and fulfilled and awesome to be doing what I really want to be doing. Feels so good.
